It is recommended to take with water when you enter the, small snacks can replenish energy, and you may be checked when entering the Shanghai Disneyland, it all depends on your luck as if you are lucky enough you may avoid being checked. And don’t forget to take with sunscreen and lipstick if you take a visit to Shanghai Disneyland in summer time.

This can save the queue time. One person gets 3 FP free of charge, the sooner you use it, the better, because the hot items are not so many there available. And you can get 1 FP in 2 hours, and you will be able to pick up the next stop after you finish using it.

For the inside of the castle, you can also take a visit there if there is plenty of time for you, but after a whole day visiting in Shanghai Disneyland, there is no physical strength, and time is not enough. You can’t enter it about an hour before the fireworks show.

The Summer Palace

It is known to all that the Summer Palace is the most well-preserved Royal Palace, and it is known as the Royal Garden Museum. The area is quite large, and it takes about five hours to fully visit it. It is recommended to enter from the East Gate, where you will first visit Wenchang Center and Deheyuan. It is mainly a place to worship and watch the opera. Among them, there are several lofts that are scattered in order and it is a residence of Cixi, Emperor and the Emperor’s wives. Then you can walk along the longest corridor in the world to the center of Pavilion of the Fragrance of Buddha. If you are tired, you can choose to take a boat to Suzhou Street and exit from the North Palace Gate. If you are interested, you can continue to go west along the promenade, which is made up of the imitation. There are also six bridges. Walk along the west bank along the lake and reach the 17-hole bridge. You can choose exiting from the new palace gate, or you can continue to go north to return to the East Gate.

Ticket for the Summer Palace is 30RMB/person, and the joint tickets are 60RMB/person, the price cost-performance is extremely high.

If you take the subway to the Summer Palace, after you get off, you can enter from the North Palace Gate, and then enter Suzhou Street, which is a shopping street and it is a water street dedicated to build for the emperor and his wife to go shopping in the Qing Dynasty. Unfortunately, it was burned by the British and French forces and later it was just rebuilt. Directly through the Cifu archway you can climb on Wanshou Mountain.

In general, climbing Wanshoushan is from the “Yunhui Yuyu” archway on the mountain foot, through the PaiYunmen, Ergongmen, Dehui Hall, Pavilion of the Fragrance of Buddha, to the wisdom of the sea on the top of the mountain, forming a layer of rising central axis. You can also climb from the back hill to the forest, all the way through the stone steps rockery to enjoy the temple, tower, church, pavilion. Then go down the mountain to Kunming Lake. The long dike divides the lake into two parts. The West Lake is small and exquisite. The East Lake is wide. There are poplar and willow on both sides of the embankment. There are arch bridge pavilions between the hundred steps. Walking on the long embankment to enjoy the lake and mountains, without looking at the iconic Pavilion of the Fragrance of Buddha, it is like walking through the West Lake in Hangzhou.

The Bund

The Bund is located on the banks of the Huangpu River in the Huangpu District of Shanghai. The Bund at night is beautifully landscaped and you can fully enjoy the scenery on both sides of the cruise. For buying the ticket, you can check the ticketing address: Window 2, Huangpu River Tour Ticket Center, B1, No. 501, Zhongshan East 2nd Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai.

Before you take a visit to the Bund in Shanghai, just have some reviews from other visitors who went there before to know about their experience on visiting The Bund.

The Bund Review

In fact, Nanjing Pedestrian Street and the Bund are connected together. You can get off the subway at the Nanjing Pedestrian Street and then straightly go to the Bund.

Even though the weather was normal that night, I still felt that many people went to the Bund, and we felt that the flow of people was pushing us forward, but I heard that it is not so many visitors compared to that of other period, especially when it is the National Day Holidays, at that times we can’t squeeze in the Bund.

When I first saw the night view of the Bund, I finally understood why we must go to the Bund to see the night scene when visiting Shanghai. It is really spectacular. It’s a kind of feeling of “no doubt that the Bund is the world financial center”. You really cannot describe it with any words.

On the other side are Shanghai’s landmark buildings, including the Oriental Pearl, Jinmao Tower, Shanghai Center, Shanghai World Financial Center, etc., the colorful neon and the scrolling slogans, all of which make you feel the visual and mental impact of this fast-growing city brings to you. I originally wanted to enjoy the view of the Bund on cruise, but the weather was not good because of the date, so we finished the tour. Although I didn’t make a cruise trip, I think it should be worth a visit.

The Palace Museum

When having travel to China, you will feel regrettable if you don’t pay a visit to the Palace Museum, which is also known as the Forbidden City. In order to have awesome experience there, just check out The Palace Museum travel guide in the follows:

Remember a principle, go from south to north, in order not to take the road!

A few key points:

The Forbidden City now only allows visitors enter into from the South Gate, and you can go out from the North Gate or the East Gate, so please keep in mind go from the south to the north!

In this circle of attractions, Chang’an Street is regarded as the boundary line. The north side is Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park, and the south side is the other attractions. No matter where you go, as long as you enter this large area, you have to have at least one security check.

With these concepts, you will find:

If you want to visit all the classic attractions, it is recommended to go out from the front door station A, and pass the security check. It is also the most common way to go.

If you only want to visit the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park, it is recommended to go out from the entrance (A or B) on the northeast side of Tiananmen Square and pass the security check.

Generally speaking, although there are many security inspectors, the speed is still guaranteed, and it can be passed in about half an hour. Bring your ID card for a spot check.

If you are hungry, you can also come back from the northern part of the Forbidden City. From Donghuamen (East Gate), you can see that there are many delicious foods nearby.

If you only go to the Forbidden City, go out from the A or B entrance of Tiananmen East/West (the exit on the north side of Chang’an Street), and then go straight through the security check.

TIPS:

Closed day

Most venues are not open on Monday, don’t come Monday!

In addition, there may be changes for tourists coming to Beijing on major holidays and anniversaries. It is recommended to check them in major official websites in advance.

Identity card

Be sure to bring your ID card. Without it, you can’t go anywhere!

After entering the security checkpoint in this area, if you want to go to Tiananmen, you still have to go through another small security check, but the time will not last long.

It is strongly recommended that you rent an electronic teller when visiting The Forbidden City, it is just 20RMB.

shanghai – hello world

Shanghai (Chinese: 上海; Mandarin pronunciation: [ʂâŋ.xài] (About this soundlisten); Wu pronunciation: [zɑ̃.hɛ] (About this soundlisten)) is one of the four municipalities under the direct administration of the central government of the People’s Republic of China, the largest city in China by population, and the second most populous city proper in the world, with a population of more than 24 million as of 2017[update].[14][15] It is a global financial centre[16] and transport hub, with the world’s busiest container port.[17] Located in the Yangtze River Delta, it sits on the south edge of the estuary of the Yangtze in the middle portion of the East China coast. The municipality borders the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang to the north, south and west, and is bounded to the east by the East China Sea.[18]

As a major administrative, shipping and trading city, Shanghai grew in importance in the 19th century due to trade and recognition of its favourable port location and economic potential. The city was one of five treaty ports forced open to foreign trade following the British victory over China in the First Opium War. The subsequent 1842 Treaty of Nanking and 1844 Treaty of Whampoa allowed the establishment of the Shanghai International Settlement and the French Concession. The city then flourished as a centre of commerce between China and other parts of the world (predominantly the Occident), and became the primary financial hub of the Asia-Pacific region in the 1930s.[19] However, with the Communist Party takeover of the mainland in 1949, trade was limited to other socialist countries, and the city’s global influence declined. In the 1990s, the economic reforms introduced by Deng Xiaoping resulted in an intense re-development of the city, aiding the return of finance and foreign investment to the city. It has since re-emerged as a hub for international trade and finance; it is the home of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, one of the world’s largest by market capitalization.[20]

Shanghai has been described as the “showpiece” of the booming economy of mainland China;[21][22] renowned for its Lujiazui skyline, and museums and historic buildings, such as those along The Bund, as well as the City God Temple and the Yu Garden.
